We could not be more excited to have a boy. He has been such a great baby and it's been a very different experience from what we went through with Hadlyn. I can already tell he'll be my little buddy and cuddle. He is doing great and we all love and adore him.

Turning 3

Hadlyn turned 3 years old. Where did that time go and now we have another one joining us. It just crazy to comprehend.
Jayson's mom Vickie came into town for the big birthday and we had fun. We took Hadlyn to Disney on Ice. She couldn't get over that all the characters were right there in front of her. She dressed in her Cinderella ball gown and crown, and then stuffed her face with cotton candy, swedish fish and other sugar filled delights, then later that night she threw it all up. So fun. We all had a great time watching her get so excited and wave to all the princesses.
Then we had her official birthday party on Sunday at my parents, I made the Barbie doll cake and decorated in a semi-princess theme. Never thought I'd do that. But it turned out really cute. She had such a great time opening all the presents and cake and ice cream. Thanks to everyone who helped and came.

This year Hadlyn was a Bumble Bee Fairy. It started out as just a bumble bee, but once the wings went on she turned into a Bumble Bee Fairy.
We also carved pumpkins, but Hadlyn didn't want to touch the "yucky stuff" so she opted for a Sharpie to decorate hers.

34 Weeks and Going Strong

I've never been this pregnant before and it's a little weird. I guess I was spoiled with Hadlyn and only being pregnant for about 7 1/2 months. But I would rather this then do that again. So we are doing great and just waiting for D-Day. December 11th is coming quick.

I enrolled Hadlyn in a community education dance class. I thought, let's see just how she does and if she likes it, then I'll put her in a more advanced, expensive class. As you can see from the video we will be doing nothing of the sorts. We'll hold off a little bit longer and make sure she is ready and willing to participate.

The Ladies (my mom, sister and sister in law) and kids decided to get away one weekend and head down South. We shopped, ate good things and got to be together. We had to bring the kids (dang it) but it still was alot of fun and great weather.

Back in September we had our "Annual Grandma Day" All my aunts and mom put on a huge party for the kids for the Summer ending. This year they added a clown and balloon animals. Everyone had so much fun and had sugar highs for days.

When Jayson and I started talking about having another child we heard a lot of theories on how to get a boy or a girl. My cute cousin and her husband told us if we wanted a boy to have Jayson drink carbonated drinks ALOT. Jayson was willing to try anything to break the "girl curse" that my family holds. He has been drinking Coke Zero like it's his job. And it seems to have worked. We are having a BOY!!! Whether it was the Coke or just plain luck we couldn't be happier. We just hope that he is healthy, strong and stays in there the whole time. Maybe he will be less drama then Hadlyn.

Hadlyn loves her dad more then anything. It kinda makes me mad sometimes that she only wants him. But he does all that he can to give her all the attention and time. She is constantly asking to be thrown in the air or spun around a million times. And he never complains.

So we got home on Tuesday night and then Thursday Jayson's mom flew in. She already had her flight booked prior to funeral happenings. So we just continued the fun and Hadlyn had a great time following her around everywhere.
We went to the zoo, got ice cream, played in the sprinklers and had fun.
Of course I have zero pictures from all this, ooops.

Florida Trip June 2011

So we headed to Florida for the funeral and to visit with family. Hadlyn did great on both flights and had a great time visiting with everyone. We got to meet Tom and Veronica's little Madeline, so cute.
We took Hadlyn to Daytona Beach and she fit right in with the beach babes. Even though it was like a million degrees that didn't bother her. She just played in the sand and loved the waves of "salty water". We had a great time even though it was under sad circumstances. Great to see everyone and thanks for everything.

Sweet Betty Boyd,
Jaysons grandma passed away today. She was 93 and sharp as a tack. She just recently had some health issues and went down hill pretty fast. She always loved her great grandchild Hadlyn and was so funny. One of those ladies you're glad you got to meet.
She is really going to be missed.

Hadlyn didn't know what to think of this great holiday with candy everything. And had fun finding the eggs filled with candy candy candy. We had a couple different egg hunts and she loved being with her cousins.

Miracle Cure

Growing up there's two things (there's plenty more then two, but these are the important ones) Collette (my mom) taught me. Never leave the house without lipstick on and perfectly coiffured hair is a must. I always wanted to star in those Pantene commercials with the gorgeous hair flowing about. (back in the day I think I could have). Lately my hair has taken a backseat, something to do with running the household, working out whenever I can, and a busy little 2 year old. Well that is about to change. I have found a great little tool and a homemade concoction to help.

Jojoba Oil. It's in all the great expensive hair products and it's cheap. I picked mine up at Whole Foods for $8. After a shampoo and condition I spread just a drop or two throughout the mane and let it shine. Apparently you can add this essential oil to conditioners, lotions and on your nails.
Also, tonight I tried out a homemade hair masque. It turned out great, the old great looking hair is coming back to life. Only now my grey hairs are shiny as ever.

In a blender mix:
1 egg yolk
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup honey
2 small avocados
And I added jojoba oil

Blend real good and then start spreading all over your dry hair. Let sit for 2 hours. Rinse, Shampoo, Condition. And look out.
Hopefully I can get back on track to what's really important in life, great hair.

So the other day I was boasting to someone about how Hadlyn has never thrown up. I'm an idiot! Have I not learned my lesson? I always say stuff and then it always happens hence this picture

And this does not even come close to showing what a mess it was. Note to self chicken fingers, ice cream, bananas and 2 bottles of milk probably isn't a good idea.
Poor Hadlyn once we got everything cleaned up and put her back to bed she gives us the sweetest look and says "I feel better".

Brace Yourself

Right after Christmas Hadlyn got her braces on her legs to help her walk and be more stable. She didn't even put up a fight and has really not minded wearing them. I just thought this was a funny cute pic from the day she got them (it had been a long day as you can see). But the good news is she is walking a ton better and and really doing well.

Chicagooooooo So Cold 2011

Jayson had to go to Chicago for work, so we gave Hadlyn to my parents and I went with him. I knew it wasn't going to be all fun and play because I had to go with him to the trade show to help. But it was nice sleeping in, working out and seeing some sights.
We were very lucky to get tickets to Wicked, eat ridiculously thick crusted deep dish pizza, and Visit Oprah (not really, but saw her studio). It was so freaking cold we couldn't stand to walk but 5ft. from the valet drop off to the hotel lobby. So we mostly drove the rental car to see stuff. It was during the playoff football game between Da Bears and Green Bay Packers. Well the city was quite quiet when Da Bears didn't win, so traffic was less which was good for us.
We had a great time being together and it was good to come back to see Hadlyn who truly missed us. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for taking care of Hadlyn and giving her anything she wanted.

YIKES!!!

This can't be good. But yes, Hadlyn was running around and ran right into my parents glass covered fireplace, yes there was a fire going. I wasn't there at the time (it was my dad and brother), but they got her hands right in cold water and tried to do all they could to make her feel better. Lucky the blisters only lasted a couple of days and then she was all better. But she still has to show everyone she comes in contact with about "my hands burned, but feel better".

Hadlyn's 2nd birthday snuck up on us real fast this year. With moving and unpacking and Jayson's mom visiting, it got busy. But she managed to have a great day. We took her to the Discovery Gateway Children's Museum. She loved every minute playing and taking toys from the other kids.
Then on Sunday we had the actual party with an Elmo cake and presents.
Can't believe she is two.

ALMOST Home Sweet Home

For the past month Jayson and I have been remodeling our house we bought. It has been fast, fun and very very very time consuming. We usually go over after Jayson gets home from work and work until about midnight or 1am then do it all again the next day. But its going to be all worth it in the end. We will have a beautiful almost brand new home. Here are the before pictures, we are moving in this weekend so by next week I hope to have the finished product. Its turned out so cute thanks to my dad and mom for all their help with fixing and painting and plumbing and watching Hadlyn.

Trip to Florida

August 19th - 24th We went to Flordia to visit Jayson's family. Besides the miserable heat it was so much fun. We visited with ALL the friends and family and Jayson't family got to celebrate his be-lated birthday. Hadlyn was throughly enjoyed by all.

What a fun Summer we have had: family BBQ's, Trips, Camping, and sitting on the porch enjoying this great Utah weather. We are in the process of house hunting, but unfortunately we (or I) can't find one that we (or I) like. So we'll continue looking and searching. So if you know of any great houses out there for sale let me know.
Hadlyn is now 20 months and growing like crazy. She talks and talks and talks, she repeats everything I say (I've got to watch my language now). Jayson has been playing soccer non-stop and working just as much. I'm here just enjoying raising the both of them and looking for a part-time job to get me off the streets.

Texting Too Much...LOL

So lately I have been trying to make contact with human voices, not via text. I feel like we are lacking communication skills as a society and family. We are going to have this generation of mutes. I know. I have been on the lookout for a pair of earrings that I can wear all the time and be glamorous. Well he found them and got them for me. I couldn't believe it. I was shocked.

Jayson and I had so much fun on our cruise to Mexico. Since Jayson was already down in Miami working (Ha, he met Kim Kardashian, I hardly call that work) the Super Bowl we planned for me to fly down when it was over and we'd go on a cruise for Valentines day and my birthday (30). It was great because we spent some time in Fort Lauderdale, Miami South Beach, and Tampa. We were all over Florida. The ship left out of Tampa so we had dinner with his family the night before, it worked out great that we could see everyone.
Although we didn't have the greatest of weather it still was relaxing and we enjoyed eating and being together.
Funny story Jayson became friends with one of the cops that was working with him during the Super Bowl, Jayson mentioned that we were going on the cruise, so he says "oh let me know your reservation # and info because my sister works for Royal Carribean she's some VP" what the...so Jayson gave it to him and he said he couldn't promise us anything but he'd try. Well when we got on the ship we had been upgraded to a suite with balcony, chocolate covered strawberries and wine (oops) and for me a spa package. Thank you cop that Jayson met. It was great and the massage was wonderful.
We had a great time but we missed Hadlyn so much. She was in great hands of grandma Collette and grandpa Dave. She didn't know whether or not to like us once we returned.
So glad to be home but can't wait to go again.

Shouldn't have to say this but Jayson was our tables entertainment.

Since we flew out of Fort Lauderdale we spent the night and went to this really yummy fancy seafood restaurant. Of course after being on the cruise and eating whenever and whatever Jayson orders all-you-can king crab legs, I got a salad. So after he devoured all that we went to this so called famous ice cream place where he proceeds to eat this. He was in a comatose state for about 4 hours afterwards.

Holidays La La La

So sad that Christmas is gone, but we have pictures to keep reliving all the great moments.
First we went down to Temple Square at saw the twinkles of light and froze. But still very fun.
Then Christmas day was a whirlwind of wrapping paper, bows and Hadlyn's toys everywhere. Plus some ankle weights for me and video games for Jayson.
Then New Year's was rung in by going to Jungle Jim's (a playland for kids) with all my nieces and cousins with their kids. It was fun to be had along with some bruises' and I don't know who had more fun Jayson or Hadlyn.
It has been a great year and Jayson and I have nothing to complain about and we are looking forward to a new year full of much more fun and surprises.

We had a great 1st birthday party for Hadlyn. She was a very good girl and enjoyed every minute. The whole family came and we even had a balloon artist there to make creations for the kids. It turned out to be great, just as I expected.

Our friends Phil and Sue asked us to watch over their house in Heber and pets while they went away for 3 weeks, sounds great if I wasn't HIGHLY allergic to cats (they have 3). But since Phil and Sue are the reason Jayson and I met and we love them, we couldn't say no. So Jayson lives in Heber and Hadlyn and I remain down in the valley. We have conjugal visits every now and then. On Sunday we met Jayson and played at the park and went for a stroller ride. We had a great time with great weather.

Anniversary 4 (It's gone by way too fast)

Jayson and I decided to leave the kid with grandma and grandpa and head to Vegas for the weekend to party for our anniversay. Okay, so we didn't gamble once, caught up on sleep and spent way too much money on fabulous food. What a great time we had.
We flew in on Thursday morning and went to the Temple then to eat yummy pizza stromboli at the best hole in the wall joint. Then checked into our hotel and relaxed by the pool where you literally felt like your skin was burning off by a blow dryer. The temp was 110, yikes just how we like it. From then we saw the Criss Angel show (pretty lame) not a huge fan but we have seen all the other shows so we gave it a whirl. He pretty much didn't do any cool tricks or levitate me so that sucked. Then on Sat. we had a great dinner in the Bellagio where we used to eat when we lived there. We had a great time together and only wanted to get back to see Hadlyn (not like we have jobs to worry about coming home to). Unfortunately we came home to a sick kid who is cutting teeth. Dear Vegas we want to come back.

RedNeck Travelin'

I know I am the worst "blogger" ever. And I'm not that busy so there really is no excuse. But hopefully I'm back and can keep up.
So on August 17th Jayson, Hadlyn and myself made they trek to Florida to visit with family. Hadlyn is lucky enough to have 2 great grandmas, they were both very anxious to see her. We had a great time. We saw all of the friends and all the family. I didn't see Hadlyn much which was great, I needed a vacation. She was mauled with kisses, hugs and lots of love. She is a great traveler and did awesome on the plane rides, but on the way home she literally "blew out her pants" and me being the best mom ever I didn't have a change of clothes (Jayson is still not over that fact). So after we get her diaper changed (sorry to the gentlemen sitting next to us) and situated she spent the remainder of the flight (2 hours) in just her diaper. With a very quick layover (10 min) in Denver, we ran off the plane and headed to the gift shop. We both refused to spend $30 on a lame airport onsie so we settled for the $9.99 army green youth tee that had nothing to do with Denver. It's now drowning Hadlyn in size and passengers are saying "look how cute HE is" Jayson's response was "yes we love HIM". So that explains the redneck travels. Maybe I'll wise up and pack the diaper bag better next time.
We had a lot of fun and thanks to all the grandpa's and grandma's that did everything for us. We love you all.

Maybe I should have titled this Not So Tiny Bubbles...as you can see Hadlyn is growing just fine. She hasn't met a bottle she didn't like. I thought these were some fun pictures of bath time. After such a crazy pregnancy she is turning out to be a great baby.

Hadlyn came home (to grandpa & grandma's) on Thursday afternoon. She is eating very well and sleeping like a champ. The one good thing about paying those NICU bills is that they have Hadlyn already scheduled. This is working out great. I'm sure those days will change soon enough. Here are some fun pic's of her leaving the hospital and a video of her first car ride. Jayson had to go back to work, we need the insurance. So he will be returning next Friday for a couple more days and then will be back for Christmas. Thanks Jay for all of the hard work and we're sorry for the stress that we've put you through, sorry. We love and miss you tons.

We Joyfully Welcome...

Our Sweet Little Baby Girl Hadlyn Collette. She rushed into this world on November 12th at 8:14pm weighing in at a whopping 4 lbs. 6 oz. and 17 1/2 inches long. She arrived earlier then expected so she is staying in the NICU until she puts some weight on and can come home. Jayson and I couldn't be happier, its not easy leaving her there when we go to visit but she is in good hands. Every nurse that she has says and I quote "this girl is a feisty little thing and she has an attitude." Jayson and I just laugh and blame each other. But she is doing well and is slowly coming off all the tubes and monitors. Hopefully only another week or two. Thank you to everyone and all of those who have been so generous and sweet. Hope you enjoy the pictures, she gets cuter everyday.

SLC Baby Shower

On Saturday we had the neighborhood baby shower, finally. It was so fun to see everyone and visit. Everyone was very generous and the baby received alot of great gifts and outfits. Thanks to my mom, my sister Marlo and sister-in-law Kim for the food, decor and presents. It turned out to be a great day and was so much fun.

SLC Update

So here I am still in Utah and still great with child (thankfully). I am resting at my parents house with very few trips to the outside world. Which means to the Chevron for my favorite drink of Orange Bang, over to Jamie and Kims to see the kids and when Marlo comes to visit maybe a Slurpee or two. But here are some random, very random pictues of this trip/experience thus far.
But just so you know everything is looking great and I feel fine. She is inside kicking and punching all the time NON STOP (keep in mind she is Jaysons child). Jayson is in TX until we have some tests done and can determine to schedule the C-Section when she is healthy enough to emerge. We are so excited and can't wait to meet this little bundle of hair, I mean joy.
Thanks to everyone who has called, visited, and brought by lunch and projects for me to do while waiting around. All of my family has been super supportive and so very generous.

Baby Cometh Early - Maybe

So here is a fun little update. I flew to SLC for one last hooray with family and friends. But early Sat. morning I was awakend by a mysterious feeling, I had hemorrhaged and kinda went into early premature labor. Totally not what was expected for my last couple days here. But I'm in the hospital on bed rest and will probably continue the bed rest at my parents home when they decide that I can go home and be safe. We just want the baby to stay put inside for as long as possible. So I will be giving birth here in SLC when the time comes and not going back to Texas any time soon. Jayson jumped right on a plane and was here in hours I love him. Thanks to everyone who has called, stopped in to visit and for all the prayers. We are doing surprisingly well and the baby is doing great she is being a little trooper. Jayson is probably flying back to Texas on Thurs. and then be on call if anything happens. We are doing our best but sometimes we are handed difficult situations.
We love you all and will keep you posted with any info.

Official Promotion

Its official Jayson has been promoted to Operations Manager at his facility. He will then be the Administrator when he passes his test in about 2 weeks. He is very excited and also nervous about this huge responsibility. But he has been doing a great job and everyone loves him there (even the old people AKA the residents).
I'm so proud of him and have already seen a change in his attitude and how he deals with situations that arise.

Florida Good Times

Jayson and I spent the weekend in Florida with family and friends. We had dinner with the family on Friday night (which is always entertaining when they get together), his mom and grandmother had a baby shower for us on Saturday morning and then we went with his dad and Carla to the Gator football game that night. We got home late last night, we had a great time and enjoyed seeing everyone.
The shower was at Olive Garden and everyone was so generous, Jayson and I are so grateful for all the generosity. Thanks Ms Vic and Great Grandma MaryJane. As you can see from the pictures we had a great time (Jayson had the camera so some of the facial expressions aren't that great).

Then the Gator game...that was something else. I have heard that the fans get crazy and tailgate but this was something out of a movie. There were so many people and so many "crazy" people I couldn't believe it. We had such a great time and they won so that makes Jayson happy. It was a night game that started at 8pm and we didn't get home until 3am. It was so so hot in the stadium even at night and it was so crowded with people all up in my personal pregnant space I was sweating like crazy. (so some of the pictures I look like I'd had it, because I had) but it was so fun to witness Jayson at home in his element. We had a great time, thanks Jay and Carla for taking us.

Anniversary Weekend

Jayson and I just celebrated our 3rd anniversary on Aug 29th. Its hard to believe that its only been 3 years. Jaysons favorite line is to tell people "it seems like its only been 5 minutes, under water" he is a real comedian.
We had a great time. We spent Friday night at a resort in North Texas called the Gaylord its a HUGE place with restaurants, shops and an arboretum. They actually slipped up on our reservation and we got all this free stuff, which made us very very happy.
Then Saturday afternoon we headed down to my aunt Coras house with my cousins and their kids for a bbq and a baby shower for Hillary. And they were all so kind and gave Jayson and I presents too. This baby is already spoiled, thanks everyone.
Then Sunday we took the day off (haha) and enjoyed some more relaxation (plus I organized all the baby clothes we already have)
It was such a great anniversary weekend. I'm sure we'll have plenty more fun anniversary's just with kids now.

Jaysons Fantasy

Saturday night Jayson had a "Fantasy Football Draft" with his friends from Florida. So he takes all day to get set up with: the web cam so they can all see and make fun of each other, his stat sheets and documentation and whatever other paraphernalia is needed. The anticipation was too great for me so I headed to a movie. I just get a kick out of how much he loves this stuff and how serious he takes it. All in all he picked a good team and I wish him much luck this season.

MY PERSONAL OPINION

Normally I don’t get too involved with politics and I’m still not totally involved. But, I just finished reading Mitt Romney’s book Turnaround (which I encourage all to read). It’s about his Olympic experiences and life experiences. Not only is this man extremely brilliant and very well educated/spoken, but he genuinely cares about making a difference in the world. He knows how to assemble great teams and how to handle difficult situations and get the job done.
I find it appalling that out of all of the candidates that ran for office we end up with the two most incompetent in the finals.
I feel bad that maybe Mitt wasn't given a fair chance due to peoples ignorance towards religion and standards.
He organized an incredible and outstanding Olympic experience for Utah and the world watching, and then moved on to Governor of Massachusetts to be successful yet again, along with many other great accomplishments.
Maybe next time the right decisions will be made concerning our futures.

So today my little Jayson turned 33.
His work had a party and made him the big chocolate cake and I made him the cookie cake. And it wouldn't be a Texas birthday party without a catfish fry with all the fixin'.
He had a half day off from work so we opened presents (new headphones, a great Gator shirt and Madden 2009 for the PS3 and $$$)then for dinner all he wanted was bbq hot wings, so we ate and watched the olympics. So pretty much all of his birthday wishes came true.

Baby, What Baby

And the winner is... Its a GIRL.
Apparently this is the only kind my family can make.
We are so excited to have a little girl and I know that she'll have Jayson wrapped around her finger in no time at all.
Now we all know that I love to shop and buy great clothes and shoes, I was not always like this. I got a little anxiety when we found out the news. I was worried because I can't braid hair or stand dolls, so what am I supposed to do with a girl.
I was a "tomboy" growing up I liked nothing really girlie until I was teenager"ish" and even thats a stretch. So I figured my best bet was we'll have a boy, not so. But I know that I have nieces that I have learned from and a great sister and cousins who fortunately can braid hair so no worries.
The one thing we really have to worry about is whether or not she'll have a 5 o'clock shadow right away. The poor girl is doomed!

What A Great Husband

So upon returning from my trip, Jayson always comes into the airport to get me, this time he had a dozen roses. Now Jayson and I aren't the most "gah gah" couple but we surprise each other every now and again. He is always so sweet and sensitive, even if it sometimes makes him look gay. I love him tons and appreciate all that he does for me and us. Thanks Honey

24th of July in SLC

I went to visit everyone over the 24th of July weekend in SLC. We had so much fun and we did a ton. If Collette and I weren't rushing to find paint colors, carpet or furniture we were seeing the Mormon Tabernacle choir along with the Osmond family, one of my personal favs. And then we took in a Bee's game and fireworks. And of course we had to eat a ton of food from everywhere, thank you aunt Shelli for the yummy Cafe Rio.
Here are some pictures from the trip and my parents new kitchen/family room. They have done so much work and my dad is still working on it. But it turned out gorgeous and looks amazing. As many of you have seen the old kitchen this is a thousand times better for Collette to prepare her culinary creations that we all love and enjoy.

I also had lunch with some of my former co-workers from Mountain Land and LNCurtis. Thanks to Becky, Aly, Julie and Laura. It was great to see all of you and I'm sorry that I didn't take any pictures. Its not that you're not blog worthy.

With this slide show you will see that the grandkids put on a "Fashion Show", I don't think they are coming to a mall near you. But they had so much fun performing and singing. We truly have the most gorgeous babies in our family we love them all. You will also see other events that took place. Not the greatest pictures but we had fun. Shopping "Researching" Baby Products

So yesterday I decide to open Jayson's eyes to what a baby actually needs. Lets just say he was okay and didn't freak out too much. We looked at strollers, car seats, diaper bags, clothes and furniture. We did alot and he was a real trooper. As you can see from the pictures he was quite enjoying himself.

Since we are first time parents and we are receiving many unsolicited advises, I've decided to just ask. So if you have any ideas on good products, stuff really needed or stuff that we won't need please let us know. I'm having a heck of a time figuring out what is going to be needed.

But we did have fun looking at everything and getting really excited.

Taste of Dallas

Saturday morning we went with our friends Brooke and Ryan Steed to the Taste of Dallas Festival and the Dallas Farmers Market. We had such a great time eating ramdon "Texas Food" such as: bacon wrapped chicken, sausage, gyros, snowcones, and bruschetta. They had some great food vendors, but what I didn't understand is that the temperature was around 98 degrees with the humidity HIGH and this was 11am and all the food that was being served was hot stuff. I just couldn't bring myself to eat hot bbq beef sandwich or hot gumbo. But my peach snowcone was perfect. It was fun to walk around the city and people watch. Thanks to the Steed's for showing us the ropes at the market.

I Miss Lilo

Back in November Jayson and I got a Shih Tzu puppy named Lilo. She is a good dog just needs a little bit more training and scheduling. When Jayson and I moved to Texas we had so many long trips planned and with the baby we just weren't sure about having the dog anymore. We have sent her to Utah with my family for a little while. I am so greatful to my sister and her husband Brent for letting Lilo stay there even though Lilo is a little crazy. Also thanks to my fabulous parents who have taken the brunt of Lilo with messes and cleanups, all while remodeling their house. Thanks to everyone who has and is taking care of our Lilo. We do love and miss her so much and our taking offers for her if it just doesn't seem to work out. We'll see

14 Day Trip O' Fun

Jayson and I recently returned home from a long but VERY fun vacation. We first flew to Tampa FL for his brothers beach wedding. We arrived on Weds. afternoon and headed straight to the beach which his mom was already dressed for at the airport. We hung out with friends Luke, Sara, Veronica (the bride) and most of Jayson's family. We stayed with his mom and Mr. Tom at their rented condo the 1st night and then on Thurs. and Fri. nights we stayed at the hotel where Tom and Vera aka "Tomonica" would be getting married. Thurs. was the rehearsal dinner and party. We layed out way too long on the beach and eat way too much food. Fri. was the big day, although Tom was very calm it almost didn't seem like he was nervous to take the plunge. But we had a great time playing frisbee on the beach and getting more sun burned. The wedding was gorgeous and HOTT. What a fantastic setting with the waves, sand and back sweat or shin sweat if your a Boyd boy. Well the reception is what everyone is talking about. There was more liquor, more music and more bridesmaids then I've ever seen. Let's just say that the bride and groom were still up at 5am on the beach hanging out with friends. It was a blast of a time. Getting to meet everyone that I've heard so much about. Tom and Vera really did it up right and it was the perfect party for the perfect couple. So on Sat. our friend Derrick Salisbury tried to take us out on his boat but the weather was not permitting. But we did have a great time catching up with friends around his pool and hottub with pizza and hot wings. Thanks Derrick and the Novack's

Then we headed north to Jayson's home town Leesburg to help his parents wind down from all the festivities. It was great to see everyone and thanks for the hospitality and fun. We love visiting FL and the weather that is there. Then it was off to SLC Utah for the yearly Moon Lake camping trip with all the aunts, uncles, cousins and the rest of the gang. It was good food and hanging out with my cousins is a remembrance of my childhood. We always have such a great time and seeing all the kids growing up is always fun. Every year the family gets bigger and bigger. We also got to see the new construction going on at my parents house. They are totally remodeling their kitchen, family room and entry. It looks amazing and they totally deserve it after so long. They only hope that it will be done soon so they can get back to eating in a normal kitchen.

And lets not forget when we come back to Utah we go to Cafe Rio which makes Jayson's day.

All in all it was a great trip and we got to see just about everyone. Sorry to those who we missed hopefully next time we'll have more time. We miss you all so much but are growing together down here in Texas, thats about all we can do since it's so hot here.

Baby Boyd On Board

So many on you already know but Jayson and I are having a baby. We are due Dec. 29th but we hope that "it" comes early or into Jan. We hope that all the families can come visit and see the new edition after arrival. Let us know if you think its a boy or a girl. A boy would be greatly appreciated for my side of the family since theres only one now. So hopefully we can change that and strengthen the Boyd family legacy.

Wride Family Trip to San Diego

So lets back track to get caught up to date. I flew into SLC on May 1st and got right in the car with Collette, Dave, Jamie and Addie for a fun long drive to San Diego. We were headed to our cousin Lisa's wedding. I wanted to spend as much time with my nieces as possible (that's why I didn't fly directly to California). Jayson flew in at a later time with Lilo so the whole family was there. We had such a great time with everyone the whole family made it and it was great to see Aunt Sandy, Lisa and Larry.
The kids loved the beach and running into the water and screaming. And they loved riding in uncle Ty Ty's convertible that he rented. We also went to LegoLand and had so much fun watching the faces of the little ones.

My mom was in heaven having us all there so she could hug, kiss and guilt trip us.

We had a great time at the San Diego Temple and such a great wedding and party afterwards.

The drive home was a little more then Addie could take and she wanted out of her carseat every 5 seconds, we tried to keep her entertained with movies, candy and the dog. She did pretty good until the last little bit and then she wanted out. Jayson and I are in for a huge surprise with our kid. It will be a spaz!!!

San Antonio Visit

Jayson had to go to San Antonio for work so Lilo and I tagged along for a vacation. We walked the famous River Walk, saw the Alamo (thought it would be bigger and in the middle of no where) and went to Sea World. We had fun just walking around the different city and eating yummy mexican food. Of course Jayson had to ride all the rides at Sea World, I always feel bad when we go to an amusement park because I get so sick on the rides that he has to ride them by himself. But he had a great time and rode all of them, sometimes twice. And if there are giant turkey legs to eat we will find them.

Dallas Sightseeing

Jayson and I thought we would take in a couple of sights of Dallas since we do live here now. So we visited the Fort Worth Zoo and the Downtown attraction of where J.F.K.was assassinated. What an eye opening experience to walk and be exactly where the president was shot. It is a very solemn place. Dallas is a huge city with tons to see and tons to eat. So if you are wanting to come visit we can find something to do.
